Our charity is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 volunteer pilot organization.
Our mission is to arrange free flights so children and adults can have access to the far-from-home doctors that can save their lives. A public benefit flying organization, we ensure that no one is denied access to distant specialized medical diagnosis or treatment due to a lack of long-distance transportation.

AFSE generates more than $10 worth of flight services for every $1 raised.
Our wonderful pilots cover the entire cost of these life-saving, critical flights. We receive no funding from any government entities. Each flight requires detailed planning and coordination, frequent communication, and comprehensive screening. These administrative costs are funded completely by donations from individuals, companies, and philanthropic organizations.

Giving a gift in memory of a loved one is a beautiful way to honor their life by giving life-saving transportation to someone in need. Your memorial donation will provide a free flight to someone in need of far-from-home doctors that can save their lives. Your loved one’s memory will forever live on in the grateful hearts of the family of the life your flight saves.
When you donate in memory of a loved one, Angel Flight Southeast will send you a certificate stating that a flight was named in honor of your loved one. You will also receive a thank you note from the child or adult who was able to reach the distant care they needed.

Chris, fighting a rare form of cancer called non small cell Adenocarcinoma. Chris has been flown more than 50 times for treatments which are hundreds of miles from his home. His daughter is able to accompany him on some of those flights.
